Course Title: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for Engineers
Course Objective: To provide substantial hands on experience on CFD modelling for solving industrial fluid flow problems while developing the essential understanding on underlying fundamentals.
Target group: Those who have the following qualifications
  • SLQF-5 equivalent or above with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Duration: 06 Days (9.00 AM to 5.30 PM)
Group size: 20 participants per intake
Course Fee: Rs. 30,000/=
Completion and Certificate:
  • Upon completion of the training programme a certificate will be awarded.
  • Participants are required to complete all the training activities to the satisfaction of the course coordinator in order to be eligible for the certificate to be awarded.

Hands on training with a state of the art CFD software on

  • Work flow of a CFD simulation
  • Meshing techniques
  • Laminar and turbulent flow modelling
  • Heat transfer modelling
  • Internal & external flows
  • Sliding and rotating bodies
  • Multiphase flow problems
  • Parameterization and optimization
