Introduction
The CAD/CAM/CAE Laboratory of the University of Moratuwa was established for developing Computer-Aided Design, Manufacturing and Engineering (CAD/CAM/CAE) skills of the students. Initially, computer-aided 2D design and draughting are taught using AutoDesk AutoCAD followed by computer-aided 3D design and draughting using software such as AutoDesk Inventor, Solidworks, SolidCAM, Solid Edge, Siemens NX, and Pro-Engineer.
