The Information Technology Faculty Student's Union (ITFSU) at the University of Moratuwa is a student organization that represents the Faculty of Information Technology. The union is responsible for addressing any issues and concerns that students may have and works with board level members to come up with effective solutions.

The ITFSU is committed to providing valuable opportunities for students. They organize a range of significant initiatives such as "Athwela," "Aswedduma," "FIT Outreach," "FIT Moments," and "FIT Guide." These programs help students develop their social skills, gain academic and industry-relevant experience, and engage in welfare activities that benefit society.

In addition to the above programs, the ITFSU organizes a range of cultural and sports engagement activities such as "Shramadana Campaigns" , "Sarasaviyai Kowul Nadai" , "Siyoth Saraniya" , "Sahurdhabishekaya" , "Puujabhiwandana" , "Ingenium" , "Annual Pirith Ceremony" , "Poson Dansala" and "FIT SIXES." These activities provide students with opportunities to engage with each other, develop leadership skills, and showcase their hidden skills and talents.

The ITFSU operates with the highest standards of accountability and actively fulfills its duties to the students and society. It has excellent organizational capabilities that allow it to sustain ITFSU in an effective manner. The ITFSU is proud to represent the Information Technology Faculty student body and is always looking for ways to better serve their community.
