Selection is done on the first come first served basis if the applicant is qualified.
Target group: Engineers, technical officers, supervisors, and technicians from industry or technical institutes; teachers at technical institutes; students of higher education or vocational training.
Entry requirement:

completed or studying for a degree, diploma, certificate from a recognized university or technical institute in Sri Lanka
or
minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience in the capacity of a technician or above.
Duration: 4 Weekends (from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM)
Medium: Sinhala / English (Delivered in Sinhala while the notes are in English)
Course fee: LKR. 25,000/=

  •  Introduction to compressed air systems
  •  Compressed air system design
  •  Basics of pneumatics and electro-pneumatics
  •  Pneumatic actuators and actuator selection
  •  Control valves and selection
  •  Measuring instruments and sensors
  •  Pneumatic and Electro-pneumatic circuit design
  •  Maintenance, energy performance, and troubleshooting
Program Introduction:

  • The goal of this program is to equip industry professionals and tech enthusiasts with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to build and maintain compressed air systems for industrial automation applications.

  • The program better suited to beginners and intermediate skill level personnel.
