An Inviscid Model for Unsteady Flow in Doubly Connected DomainsThe work is on proposing an inviscid model for evaluating unsteady flow including vortex motion and free stream, in doubly connected domain. Recent advancements on evaluating potential flow in multiply-connected domain are employed. As illustrative physical examples, wake patterns of various biplane motions and the circulation developed around each aerofoil are depicted in the paper. The study has fundamental importance in wake simulation from biplane configurations, two bladed vertical axis wind turbines to renewal interest of flapping aerofoils in micro air vehicles, insect flight etc.
