Congratulations to Dr. YWR Amarasinghe who has been promoted to Professor, with effect from 12th December 2019. Prof. Amarasinghe received the B.Sc. Eng. (Hons) degree from the University of Moratuwa in Mechanical Engineering, and the M.Sc and the Ph.D. degrees from Ritsumeikan University Japan in Information Science and Systems Engineering, and Micro/Nano Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS/NEMS), respectively. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering of University of Moratuwa in April 2011. His research work focuses on robotics, mechatronics, automation, and MEMS/NEMS.
