Prof. Ruwan Gopura, the head of department of the department of mechanical engineering delivered an invited talk titled "Development of Post-conflict Sri Lanka: Role of Humanitarian Technology" in the Sustainable Humanitarian Technologies Forum of the International Conference on Robotics and Automation-2018 (ICRA2018) on May 21-May 25, 2018 at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Brisbane, Australia.
He further participated in IEEE Robotics and Automation Society chapter chair workshop in the same conference and visited the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to discuss upon prospective collaboration opportunities between two universities.
