The Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Moratuwa is pleased to announce the commencement of the Postgraduate programme “Manufacturing Systems Engineering” for the academic year 2025/2026 and invites applications for admission from suitably qualified candidates. | ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1. | The Degree of Bachelor of the Science of Engineering honours of the University of Moratuwa specializing in Mechanical Engineering/Chemical and Process Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/Textile and Apparel Engineering/Transport Management and Logistics Engineering; or | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2. | Any other Bachelors honours Engineering degree of at least four years duration, from a recognised University, in a field of specialisation relevant to manufacturing as may be approved by the Senate; or | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3. | Any Bachelors Engineering degree of at least three years duration from a recognized university in a field of specialisation relevant to manufacturing as may be approved by the Senate with a minimum of one year of appropriate experience obtained after the degree; or | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 4. | Any recognized category of membership of a recognized Professional Institute, in a field relevant to manufacturing, obtained through an academic route as may be approved by the Senate with a minimum of one year of relevant experience obtained after the membership. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

1. Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Systems Engineering (MEng):
2. Postgraduate Diploma in Manufacturing Systems Engineering (PG Dip.):
All academic work will normally be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays. |
