Course Title: Training Program on Carbon Footprint Assessment and Management
Program Objectives: By the end of the programme, students will be able to:
 
  • Understand key concepts of carbon footprint, greenhouse gas emissions, and their role in climate change.
  • Apply carbon footprint calculation methods and develop basic GHG emission inventories.
  • Explain carbon accounting principles and reporting practices used in organizational and product-level assessments.
  • Evaluate carbon reduction and offsetting strategies, including life cycle assessment approaches.
  • Analyze policies, regulations, and case studies related to carbon footprint management and verification.
Target Group:
  UG and PG students/ Professionals and practitioners/ Government officers and policymakers/ Corporate sustainability and ESG personnel/ Researchers and academics interested in fields such as environmental science, engineering, sustainability, energy management, carbon footprint analysis, life cycle assessment, and climate change mitigation strategies, environmental regulation, climate policy, and sustainable development initiatives, sustainability or environmental management and related disciplines.

SELECTION IS DONE ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS IF THE APPLICANT IS QUALIFIED.

  • Duly completed application together with the requested documents (scanned to a single PDF file) to be sent to carbonfootprintdomeuom@gmail.com
  • Since the selection is done on first come first served basis if the applicant is qualified, a qualified applicant may not be selected for a particular intake that he/she applied for. However, such applicants will be given the priority in the next intake and they need not to re-apply.
  • A selection letter will be emailed to all the selected applicants and no payment should be made until such a letter is received.
