The Department of Mechanical Engineering is pleased to announce iMERS 2026 – International Mechanical Engineering Research Symposium 2026, which will be held on 18 December 2026.
iMERS 2026 provides a platform for academics, researchers, industry professionals, and students to present innovative research, exchange knowledge, and foster collaboration in mechanical engineering and related interdisciplinary fields with societal impact.
The symposium welcomes research contributions under eight main tracks:
- Thermofluids and Energy Engineering
- Design, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering
- Robotics, Automation and Mechatronic Systems
- Applied Mechanics and Structural Analysis
- Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering
- Biomechanical Engineering
- Automotive Engineering
- Naval & Marine Engineering
Important Dates
- Submissions Open: 10 September 2026
- Submissions Close: 10 October 2026
- Acceptance Notification: 17 November 2026
- Symposium: 18 December 2026
The Best Paper Award and Best Extended Abstract Award will be conferred upon outstanding contributions. Certificates will be awarded to all presenters.
Researchers and students are warmly invited to submit their work and take part in iMERS 2026.
