The IMechE Student Awards 2022 was held on 19th May 2022 at the Engineering Faculty Boardroom of the University of Moratuwa. The event was organised by the IMechE Student Chapter of the University of Moratuwa.
The Dean - Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Nalin Wickramarachchi, the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; Dr. Himan Punchihewa, the Chairman of IMechE Sri Lanka Group; Eng. Lal Weerasinghe and the Young Members’ Chair of IMechE Sri Lanka Group, the Secretary of IMechE South Asia Region and former Counsellor of IMechE Student Chapter of UoM; Dr. JR Gamage honoured the event with their presence. The Counsellor of IMechE Student Chapter of UoM; Dr. Lihil Subasinghe welcomed the guests. The awards were presented by the guests and valuable thoughts were shared by the distinguished guests.
