🎤 Oral Presentation Guidelines

ISERME 2026 Author Information & Presentation Setup

Each oral presentation is allocated 8 mins presentation + 2 mins Q&A. All presentations must be delivered in person. If none of the authors can attend ISERME 2026, it is the authors’ responsibility to arrange a proxy presenter.

⏱️ Timing & Slide Organization

  • Pacing: Aim for one slide per minute to maintain a steady and clear presentation pace.
  • Complex Content: For slides featuring equations or core concepts, allow up to 2 minutes for a thorough explanation.
  • Clarity: Structure slides around your primary takeaways. Keep design simple and clear to support your spoken message.
  • Preparation: Practice in advance, ideally in front of a live audience, to refine your timing and delivery.

🖥️ Technical Format & Onsite Setup

  • Format: PowerPoint (.pptx) in 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio is preferred.
  • Equipment: All presentation rooms are equipped with a computer, data projector, and lectern.
  • Arrival: Please arrive at your session venue at least 15 minutes early to meet your session chairs, review the flow, and test your presentation file on the local system.
