Oral Presentation Guidelines – ISERME 2025
Each oral presentation is allocated 8 minutes, followed by 2 minutes for audience questions. All presentations must be delivered in person. If none of the authors are able to attend ISERME 2025, it is the authors’ responsibility to arrange a proxy presenter.
⏱️ Timing & Slide Organization
- Aim for one slide per minute to maintain a steady pace.
- For slides with equations or key concepts, allow up to 2 minutes for explanation.
- Structure slides around key points you intend to make.
- Keep slides simple, clear, and easy to read—they should support your spoken message.
- Practice in advance, ideally in front of a live audience, to refine timing and delivery.
🖥️ Technical Format & Setup
- Presentation format: PowerPoint (.pptx), 16:9 aspect ratio preferred.
- All rooms are equipped with a computer, data projector, and lectern.
- Presenters should arrive at least 15 minutes early to:
- Meet the session chairs
- Review the session flow
- Check their presentation on the onsite computer
