Department of Earth Resources Engineering is a unique department that contributes to the country’s development since 1973 by producing experts in the core discipline of Mining and Minerals engineering. Further, during recent past, the department expanded the program to cover new specialties such as Ocean Resources Engineering, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System, Gem and Jewellery and Petroleum Engineering in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels

To produce competent graduates in the fields of Mineral Exploration, Mining, and Mineral Processing to achieve sustainable development in the mineral industry
