The senior academic staff of the Department of Earth Resources Engineering have had specialized training local and abroad in the fields of Extraction Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Analytical Chemistry, Mining Engineering, Rock Mechanics, Electrochemistry, Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, Engineering Geology, Gemmology, Marine Geology, Remote Sensing and GIS, Environmental Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. They are supported by qualified academic support staff and enthusiastic non-academic staff.
