Department of Civil Engineering successfully conducted a training program on “Project Planning and Control with Microsoft Project” to high-level delegates from the Ministry of Environment of Maldives from 19th – 30th June 2022. The set of delegates included Mr. Ahmed Mujthaba, the Minister of State for Environment of Maldives. The training program was conducted as two five-day sessions with the support of Uni-Consultancy Services (UNIC). The training sessions were coordinated by Dr. Lesly Ekanayake on behalf of the Department of Civil Engineering. At the end of the session, Mr. Ahmed and his team appreciated the value added by this course to make their project management more efficient. The minister and some of the delegates met with the Vice Chancellor and the Head, Department of Civil Engineering to discuss further collaborations and academic programs.
