A staff development program was conducted for the non-academic staff of the Department of Civil Engineering on office automation. The program was conducted by Mr Charaka Satharasinghe with the support of the Head, Department of Civil Engineering Professor Chintha Jayasinghe and the In-charge of the Computer Resources Unit, Professor Lalith Rajapakshe. The event started on 31st August 2020 and the main focus was to develop the IT skills of the department of civil engineering staff members. The course was well planned to equip the non-academic staff with the essential IT skills and to the ability to access common IT facilities offered by the University and online tools.
