The highly anticipated annual entertainment event, "Civil Padura 2025," was held at the Civil Engineering Department premises on the 05th of February, 2025. This event was coordinated by the Civil Engineering Society (CES) with the guidance of the Head of the Department, Prof. Udeni Nawagamuwa and also with the pivotal leadership from the Civil 2020 Batch. The event commenced at 6.00 pm with the ceremonial lighting of the oil lamp. The event was well-attended by the academic/non-academic staff and undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Civil Engineering Department. The venue was adorned with colorful decorations, creating an inviting and warm atmosphere.
The evening's program showcased the immense talents of the Civil Engineering students. Attendees were treated to a delightful array of performances, including a captivating drama piece, several fascinating dance performances, and over 20 musical performances accompanied by a live orchestra. One of the amazing highlights of the evening was the captivating musical performances by the academic staff.
As the night reached its grand finale, the sheer number of students from various departments converging on the venue was a testament to the event's resounding success. "Civil Padura 2025" once again proved to be a true celebration of talent and unity within the Civil Engineering Department, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended the event.
