On February 16, 2023, Capital Alliance Limited, a leading investment bank in Sri Lanka, conducted an outbound leadership training program for final year students of the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. The session was conducted by Ms. Rochelle Mortier, Chief HR Officer of Capital Alliance Limited.
The program was designed to provide students with hands-on experience in leadership and teamwork, helping them develop the skills necessary for successful careers in the corporate world. The awareness lecture was held at the Auditorium of the Civil Engineering Department, where Ms. Rochelle discussed the importance of leadership skills and how they can be developed through training programs like the one offered by Capital Alliance Limited.
Following the lecture, students were taken to the university playgrounds, where they engaged in various activities such as team building exercises, and problem-solving challenges. The objective of these activities was to teach students how to work effectively in teams, communicate with each other, and think creatively to solve problems.
