Ecological Engineering

Ecological Engineering can be defined as the design of sustainable ecosystems (natural and artificial), which integrate human society with its natural environment. The main objectives of Ecological Engineering are to;

  1. restore the ecosystems that have been substantially disturbed by human activities,
  2. develop new sustainable ecosystems that have both human and ecological values.
