Department of Electrical Engineering Announces New Appointments to the Sustainable Energy Authority

Prof. KTMU Hemapala of EE Department has been appointed as the secretary of the Ministry of Energy

Dr. Thushara Rathnayaka Represents Sri Lanka at IAEA Meeting on Small Modular Reactor Projects in Vienna

Dr. Thushara Rathnayaka from the Department of Electrical Engineering participated in the Sixth Research Coordination Meeting on Economic Appraisal of Small Modular Reactors Projects: Methodologies and Applications, organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) under Coordinated Research Project (CRP) 112007 (2241). The meeting took place at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, from August 19 to 23, 2024.
