The Final Year Project Room of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Moratuwa, was officially declared open on the 1st of April 2025. The event was attended by Mr. K.A.D. Pushpakeerthi, Bursar of the Finance Division, and Prof. Anura Wijayapala, Head of the Department, along with academic and non-academic staff, invited guests, and students.
This new space is designed to support the work of final-year undergraduates by providing a comfortable and flexible environment for collaboration, focused project discussions, and group work. It marks a step forward in improving the department's student facilities and encouraging a more collaborative academic culture.
