The selection of candidates for the Master of Science in Sustainable Process Engineering will be made by the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, in accordance with the following extended eligibility requirements, as approved by the Senate of University of Moratuwa.

The Bachelor of the Science of Engineering Honours degree of the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in fields of Chemical and Process Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Resources Engineering, Transport Management and Logistics Engineering, and Textile and Apparel Engineering as judged by the Faculty of Engineering and approved by the Senate of University of Moratuwa.

Any other Engineering degree of at least four years duration equivalent to the Bachelor of the Science of Engineering Honours Degree of the University of Moratuwa, in a field of specialization relevant to Sustainable Process Engineering, from a recognized university, as judged by the Faculty of Engineering and approved by the Senate of University of Moratuwa.

Any other Engineering degree of at least three years duration, from a recognized university, in a field of specialization relevant to Sustainable Process Engineering, AND a minimum of one year of appropriate experience relevant to Sustainable Process Engineering after obtaining such degree, as judged by the Faculty of Engineering and approved by the Senate of University of Moratuwa.

Any other Bachelor of Science Honours or Bachelor of Technology Honours degree of at least four years duration from a recognized university in fields of Chemistry or Chemical Sciences, Biochemical Science or Bioresources Technology, Environmental Science or Environmental Technology, Facilities Management, Transport and Logistics Management, Manufacturing Sciences or Manufacturing Technology, Mineral Sciences or Mineral Resources Technology, and other Physical Sciences and Technology streams relevant to Sustainable Process Engineering, AND a minimum of one year of appropriate experience relevant to Sustainable Process Engineering after obtaining such degree, as judged by the Faculty and approved by the Senate of University of Moratuwa.
