The Department of Transport Management and Logistics Engineering (TMLE), University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, is set to host the inaugural International Conference on Supply Chain and Logistics Engineering (SCaLE 2026) on 26th and 27th November 2026 at the University of Moratuwa.
Under the theme “Advancing Engineering Solutions for Sustainable, Resilient, and Digital Supply Chains,” SCaLE 2026 will serve as an international platform for researchers, academics, industry practitioners, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge and explore emerging developments in supply chain and logistics engineering
As a newly established international conference hosted by the University of Moratuwa, SCaLE 2026 places particular emphasis on rigorous, engineering-oriented research addressing the structural, operational, and technological challenges faced by modern supply chains and logistics systems, with a strong focus on emerging economies and South Asian contexts.
A key feature of SCaLE 2026 is its collaboration with Springer Nature, with accepted and presented full research papers scheduled for publication in the Springer Lecture Notes in Logistics (LNL) series. Through this international conference, the Department of Transport Management and Logistics Engineering aims to strengthen research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and academia–industry engagement in the field of supply chain and logistics engineering. SCaLE 2026 is expected to provide a valuable platform for advancing research, fostering collaboration, and highlighting the contribution of the University of Moratuwa to the development of sustainable, resilient, and digitally enabled supply chain and logistics systems.
