The Department of Transport Management & Logistics Engineering (TMLE), University of Moratuwa, successfully conducted an interactive workshop titled “Business on the Move” on 16th July 2026 at the Learning Studio of the Department.
The session was conducted by Dr. Nishal Samarasekera, Assistant Professor at the University of Warwick, UK, and former Senior Lecturer of the Department of Transport & Logistics Management, University of Moratuwa. The workshop provided an engaging platform for academic staff to explore contemporary perspectives on business, transportation, logistics, and the dynamic nature of modern business environments.
The programme commenced with a welcome session, followed by the interactive workshop on “Business on the Move. “The session included an interactive discussion and Q&A, allowing participants to exchange ideas and gain insights from the guest facilitator. A mock game session was also conducted, providing participants with an engaging and practical learning experience.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for academic staff to engage with international expertise, exchange knowledge, and strengthen professional and academic connections in the fields of transport, logistics, and supply chain management.
