The Department of Transport Management & Logistics Engineering successfully held its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 14th July 2025 at the Department premises, University of Moratuwa. The outgoing committee, led by Mr. Geesara Weerakkody, presented their annual report and highlighted the key initiatives completed during their tenure. Mr. Viran Haputhanthiri presented the annual budget, while the minutes of the previous AGM were read by the Secretary, Ms. Buddhima Withanage.
Following the presentations, a new committee was appointed for the STL Year 2025/26, with Mr. Praveen Mihiran taking office as the newly elected President. Prof. H. Niles Perera continues to serve as Patron and Staff Advisor, while Prof. Amila Thibbotuwawa remains in the role of Treasurer.
The AGM provided an important platform to reflect on the past year’s achievements and set the direction for the year ahead, further strengthening the department’s commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence.
