Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership TRAINING PROGRAM – SUPPLY CHAIN STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP
The Department of Transport Management and Logistics Engineering, University of Moratuwa offers the Supply Chain Strategy and Leadership training program to develop strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and system-level understanding among supply chain professionals.
The objective of the Supply Chain Strategy and Leadership training program is to equip industry professionals with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to effectively lead and optimize supply chains as a strategic asset in line with the current requirements. This program is designed for professionals engaged in the supply chain and logistics sector who possess qualifications equivalent to or above SLQF Level 5, and who aspire to take on strategic, leadership, or decision-making roles within their organizations.
The training program will be conducted over three days, comprising six sessions with a total of 18 contact hours. Sessions will be held from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm each day. The program will be delivered at the Department of Transport Management & Logistics Engineering, University of Moratuwa, with an online participation option available for participants who are unable to attend physically. The program is coordinated by Prof. Amila Thibbatuwawa of the Department of Transport Management & Logistics Engineering, University of Moratuwa. The program is designed with a strong emphasis on industry relevance, practical application, and strategic decision-making in contemporary supply chain contexts.

COMPLETION & CERTIFICATION
- • • Upon successful completion of the training program, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
- • • Participants are required to complete all training activities to the satisfaction of the panel of resource persons to be eligible for certification
