The second year Textile Design students of Fashion Design & Product Development Degree course have completed their Industry Collaboration Team Projects successfully with Hayleys Fabrics PLC, Neboda, Horana. The three teams have completed their projects based on the “sustainability” theme, they have selected three different project areas in improving the productivity of fabric dyeing process and especially reducing the water consumption in the dye cycle. The teams presented their projects to the upper management team of Hayleys where they found all their projects very noteworthy and were so impressed by their findings. The projects have been continued in order to implement in bulk production.
