This laboratory is used by students from Level 1 itself for a range of subjects related to textile fibres. Facilities include Trinocular, Electronic Microscopes, Rotational Viscometer and extracting machines. The laboratory is also used extensively for project work. Some practical classes for students of other departments are also undertaken in this laboratory.
The laboratory is one of the Department's Textile Testing Laboratories, and carries out a wide range of tests on a variety of textile materials especially on fibres. Our range tests include:
