The 12th Graduation Fashion Show of the Department of Textile & Clothing Technology was held in Shangri-La, Colombo on 14th August 2018. Concurrently, Graduation Exhibition of the ‘Design & Development work’ of the final year undergraduates and two Fashion Workshops demonstrating the Design & Development process of few diversified products was held in 14th to 16th August 2018 at J.D. A Perera Gallery, Colombo 7.
In addition, department organizes a Fashioning The Future forum on Sustainable & Digitalization Practices in Fashion Apparel Industry was held on 14th August 2018 at Shangri-La, Colombo. The forum aims at adopting a broad dialogue in sustainable practices and tag on the digital technology in global apparel business with the expertise resource persons.
