On April 18th, 2024, the Department of Building Economics celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year by organizing a festive New Year Table. This joyous event was honored by the presence of several esteemed guests, including Vice Chancellor Prof. N.D. Gunawardena, Deputy Vice Chancellor Dr. D.P. Chandrasekara, Registrar Mr. D.L.D. Jayantha, and Bursar Mr. K.A.D. Pushpakeerthi. Additionally, Prof. Yasangika Sandanayake, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, also graced the occasion.
