Sachini Nimesha, a Level 4 Quantity Surveying undergraduate of the Department of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa, has won the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL) Logo Design Competition 2025, leading to the (Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors) PAQS Annual Congress 2026. Her winning design will serve as the official logo for the upcoming PAQS Annual Congress 2026, which the IQSSL will host.
The competition provided a unique platform for Sri Lankan Quantity Surveying students to showcase their creativity to an international audience. Participants were challenged to create a logo that captured the congress theme: "Constructing the Evolution: Unleashing Human Intelligence in the Digital World."
Furthermore, she was appointed as a member of the Publication Committee for organizing the PAQS 2026 Congress and Conference. Bringing together over 500 professionals from the Asia and Western Pacific regions, the PAQS Annual Congress 2026 is an excellent opportunity for students and young Quantity Surveying professionals to gain international exposure and demonstrate their skills at a globally recognized event.
