The Department of Building Economics is proud to announce that Professor Menaha Thayaparan has successfully completed the full Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and has been admitted as an Associate of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL), effective from 11th December 2025, thereby attaining recognition as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. The official oath-taking ceremony was held on 9th January 2026, where she formally received her Associate (Corporate) membership. This achievement reflects her commitment to professional excellence and strengthens the Department’s portfolio of professionally qualified academic staff. It also serves as an inspiration to students and peers, highlighting the value of continuous professional development.
