The BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying programme offered by the Department of Building Economics has received resounding approval from the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS). A distinguished panel, consisting of industry experts, recently conducted a comprehensive review to assess the program's quality.
The esteemed panel members included Mr. Goh Ngan Hong from the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) as the Chair, Ms. Nor Ainah Abdullah from the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), Ms. Wong Yi Min from the SISV, and Ch.QS Upul Shantha from the Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Sri Lanka (IQSSL).
During their visit, the panel meticulously evaluated study materials, student assignments, and the state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities. Additionally, they engaged in productive discussions with students to gather their valuable insights regarding the program's quality and the effectiveness of lectures.
