Mr. Dilshan Akalanka, a lecturer from the Department of Building Economics, has successfully completed the APC Final Assessment, earning Associate Membership of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL) and recognition as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. Additionally, Mr. Sasanka Gallage, also a lecturer in the department, was granted membership of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), securing the designation of Certified Quantity Surveyor. These latest achievements further enhance the department’s growing roster of professionally qualified academic staff, highlighting the high caliber of expertise and commitment to professional development that defines the Department of Building Economics.
