Level 2 students at the Department of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa, had a unique learning opportunity on July 4, 2023. They actively engaged in a guest lecture titled "Diaphragm Wall Construction," hosted by Malinda Harischandra, a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Access Engineering PLC.
This informative session, held in Lecture Room 5A from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., exposed students to the practical applications of construction technology. Malinda Harischandra's expertise provided a hands-on perspective of diaphragm wall construction, allowing students to grasp the real-world complexities and importance of this construction technique.
