Dr. Ajibade Aibinu, a senior Lecturer attached to the Melbourne School of Design, Faculty of Architecture, Building & planning of theUniversity of Melbourne, Australia, visited the Department of Building Economics on 15th December 2015. Dr. Aibinu discussed the post graduate opportunities in the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM) available in the University of Melbourne with the staff and the undergraduates who are interested in the field of BIM. The session was concluded with a lecture on “Organizational Strategies for Implementing and Surviving a Radical Innovation: Lessons Learnt from Building Information Modeling (BIM) adoption by some construction organizations in Europe”, delivered by Dr. Aibinu, for the undergraduate and post graduate students, and the academic staff of the Department of Building Economics, which was very useful for the research students and staff members researching BIM.
