Sarasavi Gee Sisila, one of the most anticipated events on the university calendar is the annual musical extravaganza organized by Building Economics Students’ Society, University of Moratuwa. The event solely focuses on strengthening the financial capabilities of the society by which the students are benefitted immensely through,
- Providing financial assistance for students who are in need by awarding scholarships.
- Facilitating printing books which are very essential for academic purposes.
- Encouraging extra-curricular activities within the student community.
Veteran musicians in local classical music arena are expected to be participated the event, namely; 20th chapter of the annual musical event ‘Sarasavi Gee Sisila’, organised by the Moratuwa University’s Building Economics Students’ Society (BESS) was held on 25th March 2015 from 6.00 pm onwards at the University premises.
