Ms. Harshini Mallawarachchi (Lecturer, Department of Building Economics) won a gold medal in SLAYS 3 MINUTE THESIS COMPETITION (SLAYS 3MT®) Organized jointly by Sri Lankan Academy of Young Scientists (SLAYS) and National Science Foundation of Sri Lanka (NSF). She became one of the 10 finalist from 144 competitors participated the competition. Ms. Mallawarachchi was awarded Gold Medals for her performances at the SLAYS Open Forum 2017, held at Hilton Colombo Residences on 1st of March, 2017. The Research was supervised by Prof. Lalith de Silva (the Dean, Faculty of Architecture) and Dr. R. Rameezdeen (Senior Lecturer, University of South Australia).
