The undergraduates of 2012/2013 intake of the Department of Building Economics organized an educational programme in collaboration with the Building Economics Students’ Society (BESS) to aid the students of several schools of the Dehiowita Education Zone, with the subjects Science, English and Mathematics. Students from Magala Kanishta Vidyalaya, Sri Devananda Kanishta Vidyalaya, Pothdenikanda Maha Vidyalaya, Dikellakanda Kanishta Vidyalaya and Sirisaman Madya Maha Vidyalaya participated in the programme, which was conducted from 29th April to 1st May 2016 at Magala Kanishta Vidyalaya, Deraniyagala.
