On July 1, 2023, Level 2 students at the Department of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa, had the privilege of attending an enriching guest lecture titled "Empowering Ourselves." The lecture was conducted by Dr. Chamath Lavinda, MBBS (Colombo), Vice President of Young Professionals’ Alliance for Health.
The event, held at the Department Auditorium (Sumanadasa Building) from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., focused on equipping students with the tools to face academic and professional challenges with confidence. Dr. Chamath Lavinda shared valuable insights and strategies that will empower these budding professionals as they embark on their academic and career journeys.
