Dr Ayesha Wickramasinghe from the Fashion Design and Product Development, Department of Textile and Apparel Engineering, University of Moratuwa, was honoured with the State Literacy Award 2022 for the Best Academic and Research work (English-2021). The award ceremony was held on the 28th of October 2022, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) under the aegis of Hon. President Ranil Wickramasinghe, and was organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs.
Impression of China: Cloud Tour of Chinese Architectural Culture is a “Chinese Bridge” Delegation Online study camp project hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and organized by Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology. The project aims to meet the needs of overseas students to learn practical Chinese and experience Chinese architectural culture through Chinese language lessons and Chinese architectural cultural events.
The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) of the University of Moratuwa organized an Open Day, on 17th August 2022, for the students who recently completed their undergraduate degrees.
This was the very first time, the FGS organized an event like this, which was participated by more than twenty young graduates.
