All three winners from Moratuwa- COVID19 Design Competition by IMechE Sri Lanka Group

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) Sri Lanka Group has organized a competition to explore the IMechE Young M e m b e r s ’ design skills to fight COVID-19 pandemic. The objective has been to assess the design strengths of the young members to battle the global crisis. The final evaluation was held online on 29th May 2020.

The UoM Wins the First Runner Up Award in the 2020 CASS COVID-19 Special Student Design Competition

The UoM team won the first runner-up award in the 2020 CASS COVID-19 Special Student Design Competition organized as an event of International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) 2020. ISCAS is the flagship conference of the IEEE Circuits and Systems society with more than 750 research paper presentations in each year.

THE UNIVERSITY OF MORATUWA OBTAINS AN “A” GRADE FOR INSTITUTIONAL REVIEW - 2019

The third cycle of the Institutional review (IR) of University of Moratuwa by the University Grants Commission (UGC) was done in the year 2019. The previous two cycles were successfully conducted in the years 2006 and 2013. The university is privileged to obtain an “A” grade (the highest possible grade) for this year’s institutional review.
