A conference publication titled ‘Tea Waste Impregnated with Iron Oxide Nanoparticles for Dye Removal from Aqueous Solutions’, authored by Mses. Pavithri Madhubashani, Nimni Sewwandi, and Prof. Padma Amarasinghe of the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering of University of Moratuwa was presented at the 4th International conference on recent advancements in Interdisciplinary research 2020 (4th ICRAIR 2020) on the 8th May 2020. This paperwork has already been published in International Journal of Advanced Science and Technology Vol. 29, No. 11s, (2020), pp. 740-747. This work was focused on analysing the effects of various parameters for the adsorption process and determination of preferred kinetic models based on the equilibrium data obtained from the experimental studies conducted in order to determine the possibility of the removal of Basic Red 18 (BR18) textile dye from aqueous solutions using Magnetic Nanoparticles Loaded Tea Waste (MNLTW).
