Dr. Thushara Subasinghe had been invited as the guest lecturer at the "Green Chemistry and Chemical Management" workshop organised by the National Cleaner Production Centre at Rock Fort Hotel, Unawatuna, on the 27th & 28th of October 2022. Dr. Thushara shared his knowledge and experience on "Green Chemistry" with the participants on the second day of the program. The workshop targeted executives and above who involved with manufacturing industries in the Galle area. Participants were very interested in Green Chemistry and its 12 principles which guide them to make their industries inherently safe and sustainable through fundamental changes to its chemical processes.
