Senior Professor Ajith de Alwis of the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Moratuwa was selected as a member of Management Systems Certification Committee (MSCC) at Sri Lanka Standards Institute since 2012. This committee oversees the certification of all the management systems such as ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 22000. Within the MSCC, Prof. de Alwis has been involved in the formulation of policy matters relating to the operations, development and maintenance and impartiality of its activities of the management systems certification schemes.
