Senior Professor Ajith de Alwis of the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Moratuwa was selected to serve as a member of the Intellectual Property Advisory Commission (IPAC) and was reappointed to serve IPAC with the National Intellectual Property Office (NIPO), Ministry of Technology and Innovation. IPAC was established under the Intellectual Property Act No 36 of 2003. Prof. de Alwis has been serving IPAC as a member for the last 05 years following his initial appointment on 2014.
