EUSL energy project is to establish a true, fully integrated collaboration between the partner universities in Sri Lanka and the universities in the European Union. The main outcome of the project will be a new master degree program in energy circular economy which gives the graduates the knowledge, skills, creativity, competences and business-perspective to solve the future energy-related challenges in the country in an environmental and financially sustainable manner. The first progress meeting was originally planned in Stockholm, Sweden. However, due to Covid-19 crisis the meeting was held online 29th June -3rd July 2020. under new normal guidelines. Senior Professor Ajith de Alwis, Prof. P.G Ranthasiri, Prof. Mahinsasa Narayana, Dr. (Mrs) Sanja Gunawardena, Dr. (Mrs) Duleeka Gunarathna, Dr. Mahinsasa Rathnayaka, Dr. (Mrs) Dilhara Sethunga and Dr. Thushara Subasinghe participated the 5 day online meeting to report the updates from University of Moratuwa. Dr. Mahinsasa and Dr. Thushara presented the progress of work packages which are under University of Moratuwa.
