Department Industry Consultative Board (DICB) Meeting for the Year 2025 of the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Moratuwa, was held on 18th March 2025 at the DCPE Board Room with the active participation of the DICB Members from various Industries and the DCPE Academic Staff. The DICB meeting was chaired by the Head of the Department, Prof. (Mrs.) Shantha Egodage and the Discussion Sessions with the Industry Partners on the improvement suggestions for the DCPE Curriculum, Industrial Training Program, Mentoring Program/Employment Status/Career Guidance Program, Student Extra-Curricular Activities, and International Research Conference/Industry Forum organized by the department.
Before the Discussion Sessions, Brief Presentations were delivered on the session topics by the Department Academic Staff Members.
The DICB members representing diverse sectors in the process industries provided important thoughts, suggestions, and useful insights on possible improvements for the entire academic program for BSc. Engineering (Hons) Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering.
After fruitful discussion sessions, the DICB meeting was ended, marking the continuation of the next DICB Meeting in Year 2026.
