The Latex Technology Laboratory of the department is equipped with latex characterization instruments for latex product manufacture while it is also equipped with several instruments to measure the chemical properties of a polymer. Also, instrumentation to analyze various properties of rubber and plastic such as physical, mechanical, and thermal properties namely, specific gravity, rebound resilience, tensile and compression, abrasion resistance, melt flow index and others are available in this laboratory.
